“Nestled on the worn pages of an old fairytale, this curious baby dragon is deep in one of his favorite stories. It is the tale of The Six Swans, a story of loyalty, silence, and transformation -one he seems to take quite personally. He wants to get inspired and write his own -every avid reader dreams of becoming a writer someday, and dragons’ dreams are the biggest of all! Yes, as you might have noticed, he’s actually more enthusiastic than tidy—but every librarian has to start somewhere!
Inspired by my love of books, dreams, and quiet moments of wonder, this piece feels very special. Hours and hours have been invested on crafting the pages of the book, one by one, layer of paper one over another, again and again. The little dragon is crafted with care, its scales shimmering with a soft and shiny purple glow (changing with the light), like a secret waiting to be discovered… It is for anyone who’s ever gotten lost in a page, or imagined that stories might be watching us back 💗🐉📚✨”
